Help needed please

1 adult 1 child with F'n'F railcard

Out 25th July 10ish
Return 30th July 2ish

Wouldn't have a clue where to look for splits so the best I have found is £70.95
for an off peak return

You can get an Off Peak Return (SVR) from Waterloo to Neath via Salisbury and Cardiff for £50.70 (£39.35 + £11.35).
On the SWT site, click the "other routes" button on the price page (which gives you fares via Paddington), and then click trains via Warminster/Salisbury.
It doesn't seem to want you to start at Clapham Jn.
Double the journey time though.

Thanks for the help. Think I'll go with my original plan as the saving doesn't make the extra journey time worth it imo!
