Carriage TOC branding

On my trip into London Bridge today, looking out the window at Southeastern and Southern trains, I noticed that most trains with new(er) liveries only had the TOC's name on the first and last carriage. The intermediate carriages had the TOC's colour scheme but not its name. Is this a new rule?

No, that's just the way they decided to brand them. The new 5 car 377s and the 387s have the Southern/Thameslink brand on every car.

If you are extremely bored, look out for a 377/3 with the logos in a different place from all the rest ??????

No worries. I noticed it the first time I saw both the Southern and Southeastern liveries!
