Caroline and DRS 37 Man Picc

Caroline and a 37 are currently sat in the Eastern Spur at Man Picc (end of platform 1) anyone got the gen on when and where they may be going?

Didn't quite catch the number on the 37 as the sun was in my eyes!

In all probability the loco is 37405. It passed me on Tuesday afternoon, just south of Stafford, on a Derby - Crewe working [2Z02 Derby: 08:32 - Crewe: 17:34] and then going forward as [5Z02 Crewe: 17:43 - Man Picc: 18:32].

It seems to be lined up to do this:

"Caroline" is a former Southern Region inspection saloon, converted from a Hastings DEMU vehicle, that sees regular use on inspection duties across the country:

It was still there at 0943 this morning.

I drove past this yesterday as it was sat at Ordsall Lane (held at a red because of my airport train). Was a Picc today at 10:00hrs and saw it sat in the spur still as mentioned above. Had no idea what it was but now I know!
