I took a slightly impulsive day out last week to Carnforth to have a look at the WCRC depot and bag some more 390s.

The highlight was 47802 dragging a pair of 37s down from Scotland back to WCRC's depot and the Cumbrian Coast LHCS. The heavy morning rain soon cleared but freight traffic was rather light throughout the day with none of the usual light engine traffic and the Colas logs running via the S&C at present. I annoyingly missed an evening flask train as it was running late. A few new coaches visible in the WCRC yard as they seemed to have moved a lot around late last year, although this does mean most of the demic 47s and 37s are now invisible from the footpath at the back.
