Carlisle to Leeds 24th June

Hello,

I'd like to take in a trip on the loco hauled train on the Cumbrian Coast and a trip on the Ratty on 24th June. Here is what I'm planning to do:

Carlisle 0842 - Ravenglass 1031

Ravenglass 1431 - Carnforth 1616

Carnforth 1632 - Leeds 1812

What is the cheapest way of doing this?

A split at Carnforth? £25.10 + £17.90 = £43

still plenty of time to order the back issues of the newspapers from one of the publishers.
Even with the cost of postage and the newspapers total cost for the day would still be under £20.
although the Northern Rail ticket isn't valid until 8.45am so would have to add on the cost of a single from Carlisle to Dalston which would be £2.30.

Not aware of the Northern Day ticket newspaper offer - can you let me know more? A quick internet search shows it finished in March?
