The steam loco in that shot is LMS Princess Royal class no. 6201 Princess Elizabeth.

Why hasn't it got no coupling both ends? is that the loco that a coupling snapped and also that loco moved into the yard near the wall and it wouldn't come in good use if a pendo failed and couln't couple up to it! unless it had emergency couplings on board.
