Cardiff to Manchester headcode changes

Morning,

Not that it remotely makes a difference to the running of the train, but is there any reason as to why the 1102 and 1702 Carmarthen to Manchester services have had their headcodes changed from 1W23 and 1W35 to 1W24 and 1W53 respectively?
