The plans for Cardiff’s new bus/coach station have now been put out (by the developers) for consultation. Looks like a massive development of ugly office blocks with a few (14) spaces for coaches in a confined space - which will hold fumes in a similar way to Birmingham New Street Station. The height of the buildings is also going to amplify the winds and thus make walking from the Central Station to the main shopping areas very unpleasant.
Looks to me that the developers are simply trying to extract the greatest value out of a given amount of land.
