Hi,

I have a YPRC. Does anyone have any tips for the subjected journey on the 26th Feb, returning the same day.

One travelliing, need to arrive by 14:00 and depart around 18:00.

Have explored most of the usual traits but struggling to drop the price much.

Thanks

Are you leaving from Bristol or Cardiff?

edit: I've investigated splitting at Sheffield but it doesn't make much difference. Splitting at New Street is much the same.

I don't think you'll be getting much change from £50

Have a weekly Cardiff to Bristol pass, so doesn't really make any difference.

Yeah I'm sticking at the same. Have looked at trying to use the £10 Midland Train voucher, starting from Hereford. But not getting very far!

BRI - HUL SVR £66.95 NOT LONDON

Just tried a few random splits. Have a look if you can get anything cheaper.

BRI - CNM CDR £5.15
CNM - BHM CDR £13.55
BHM - DBY CDR £9.05
DBY - SHF CDR £5.80
SHF - HUL CDR £15.00
TOTAL = £48.55

Tickets valid any time as you're travelling on a Saturday

BRI = Bristol TM
CNM = Cheltenham
BHM = Birmingham Stns
DBY = Derby
SHF = Sheffield
HUL = Hull

CDR = Cheap Day Return (Off-peak day return)
SVR = Saver Return (Off-peak return)

I think time may beat you though, I'm presuming with the times you've given this is for a football match yay / nay?

Last connection for Not London from Hull to Bristol is at 1758 (Changing Leeds), last one for Cardiff is at same time changing at Manchester
