I need to travel from London to Cardiff on Saturday 1st June (any train but ideally afternoon/evening), from Cardiff to Bristol on the evening of Sunday 2nd June (probably after 1930), from Bristol to Gloucester on the morning of Monday 3rd June (arrive by 1000), and from Gloucester to London after 1600 on Wednesday 5th June. Gloucester is for work; the others are personal, so I can expense Gloucester to London or any other reasonable ticket (including a London to Swindon return, for example). The ticket would need to be on the appropriate line of route, but the dates on the ticket don't matter.
I have no railcards and can use advances, but ideally not on the Gloucester to Paddington bit.
At the moment, I am looking at an advance from Paddington to Cardiff Central on the 1545 service on Saturday (£27.50), then an anytime day single from Cardiff Central to Gloucester breaking overnight at Bristol Parkway (£17.90, although I don't know if this is actually allowable so I might spend the extra £2.10 to get two extra tickets), then a super off-peak single from Gloucester to London at £28.10.
Any improvements would be gratefully received.
