Some of the branding have already gone on HSTs and Meridians, doesn't make the HST's look too bad actually, reminds me when unbranded Virgin power cars were on the MML with Project Rio

Those top 2 pics in your post, look far too cropped, the first one you have a good effect with those bridges you could have used them a bit more to make a better picture,

Its all personal taste, first few years of photographs i took of railways were the same, now i don't even look at them lol

I go through phases of the type of shots I like. This season it is close cropped but I can see where you are coming from. I didnt want to get the bunch of chavs on my platform in the shot with the bridges
