On Tuesday 12th August I took 1S66 14:21 from Manchester Piccadilly, which should have taken me to Edinburgh, arriving at 17:40. The train terminated at Preston with a fault and we had ticket acceptance on 9S70, the next Avanti to Edinburgh. That itself ran late. I didn't note the exact time of arrival at Waverley but Real Time Trains shows it as 1851¼.

I have twice logged in to the TPE delay repay site to try to claim. I enter the details and upload my e-ticket, but each time when I click on the Submit button I get a whirligig which stays for a few minutes and then a message telling me the session has timed out.

Is there a known problem? If I can't submit through the website what is the recommended alternative?

Have you tried a different web browser, or a different device? Clearing cookies/cache may also help.

Why didn't I think of that? Claim now submitted. Thank you.

For completeness I should now add that my claim has been allowed.

For complete completeness, what did you do to get it to work? :D
