Hi,

Is it just Chester or a more widespread problem? TOD option is greyed out on all three TVM’s at Chester and the booking office chap said it’s coming up with an error on his machine.

Will try again in the morning anyway but just wondered.

I’ve just collected some tickets at Harlington (Beds) so it doesn’t look like a nationwide problem.

Thanks @Hadders I did go back the next day but much later then planned and still couldn’t collect from the TVM, it was moaning about my credit card this time, even though that’s the one I booked with, so it was a visit to the booking office who managed to print said tickets this time.

Though it’s academic as my train was cancelled anyway and I threw In the towel.

Waiting to see if TPE are gonna try and charge me a tenner or not for a refund.

If you abandoned your journey because of the cancellation there should be no admin fee. LNER have refunded me promptly in full for a journey last Thursday (Leeds 30 May) involving none of their trains

Thanks @30907 I had already contacted Merseyrail via their website but they promptly wrote to me, saying I needed to contact the ticket seller, I have filled in the form on TPE’s website and it says they will review it and if it is down to cancellation they will indeed waive the £10 fee. Hope so otherwise I will end up owing them money! Lol.

The greyed out collection option, is sometimes due to lack of internet connectivity, my local station had it for a while, the ticket office explained the broadband router kept locking up.
