Hi everyone, not sure if this is the best place to post this but what is the obligation from the train operating company to get you home if they cancel loads of trains on a Sunday?

Good question! And does it depend on whether you had bought a ticket before the cancellations were announced or known about?

Tickets were bought prior to services being cancelled.
Currently on a last train to Preston which will see us stranded there.
I presume it will be a taxi home from there?

@MichaelTrains. How much further had you been hoping to travel beyond Preston? And how did things get sorted?

Back to Bradford.
We were told to go to Manchester Piccadilly and get a taxi paid for by Northern home from there.
Two trains in a row had been cancelled.
Just in the taxi now.
