Cancelled train

Went get 1419 train from Taunton to Weston super mare it was running 15 mins late then out of the blue they cancelled Weston super mare and ran everywhere else we were fuming as we had to wait another hour for next train

That sounds like they ran it direct ( i.e. avoiding the Weston loop ) to recover time?

This is very annoying at short notice, but unfortunately is not unusual - if they didn't offer you alternative transport from Nailsea to Weston, you should be able to make a delay repay claim.

Although I suspect it was just done to claw back the delay , there is also the possibility that there wouldn’t have been the line capacity at Weston
