Cancellation and subsequent reinstatement

If a service is cancelled, and you are notified of the cancellation, and the service is subsequently reinstated, and you are notified of the reinstatement do your rights from the initial cancellation remain? I.e. Are you able to travel on the 2 services either side for that operator (or any DfT TOC where the mutual acceptance kicks in) using your advance fare? Do you still qualify for delay repay if you travel on a later service, or does the fact the reinstated service became available stop that? Thanks
