Hello,
Tomorrow I am planning to get an off peak return from MKC to Crewe. The ticket says it’s valid for any route via Rugby (stops or passes).
I will go direct on the way, but a few hours later on the return I’d like to break the journey and get off the Avanti at Wolverhampton (where I’ll use a separate return ticket to go to Tipton and back), then in the same day jump back onto an Avanti at Wolverhampton and continue back to MKC.
My question is, is it ok to break the journey like this? Getting separate tickets for each leg makes it quite a bit more expensive (Single MKC to Crewe, single Crewe to Tipton, single Tipton to MKC). I am also trying to stick to Avanti services as much as possible so using Wolverhampton to get to Tipton is ideal.
Many thanks!
