Can anyone identify the wagon?

This is a photo I don't own, so I hope I'm not breaching copyright.

The picture is of West Vale goods yard, on the old L&Y Stainland and Holywell Green branch. Taken, one would imagine around tracklifting time in the early 1960s.

I'd love to know what the wagon is in the immediate foreground, as it seems to be carrying something large and heavy. I'm also not sure if it has a diesel shunter of some description attached. I'd love to know.

It looks to me rather like a bogie bolster wagon, and the load upon perhaps lifted rail lengths removed from the yard?

I'd agree with Ash Bridge on the wagon and load. It may be a class 03 or a contractor's loco moving the wagon?

Thanks - I did wonder if a diesel engine ever made it up the branch so maybe here is the proof.
