I remember a programme where two designers/inventors solved various problems but can't remember what it was called.
The three problems I remember are designing a better electric shaver, redesigning aircraft seats to give more leg room and central locking for a house.
I am hoping someone with a better memory than me will remember the title of the programme.

As is the nature of TV, where formats are often recycled, there's been a few programmes like that over the years. "The Big Life Fix", first aired on BBC in 2018, will have been one. "Better by Design" on Channel 4 in c. 2000 was maybe another. No doubt there'll have been a few others.

And thanks to your reply I now know the programme I was thinking of was Better by Design.

That was the one fronted by UK product designers Richard Seymour and Dick Powell. Think they only did the total of nine episodes over two fairly short series.
