I have a Windows 7 laptop (no idea about the technical stuff as im not the best with computers  ) and i cant get BVE to work at all. I installed like it said on the FAQ, but when i go to load it says "BVE has stopped working".

Ive tried what it said on the sticky about Vista/Windows 7 but it hasnt worked :(

I would be grateful for any help

Thanks
Tom

Firstly does it say anything other than BVE has stopped working, any sort of error codes or anything?

Secondly, klambert could be right about the graphics, laptops often have rubbish ones. So it might help to know more about your system specs. To do this go to start menu, in the search bar type dxdiag then click on the result of the same name. A new window should open. Can you tell us what yours says about the highlighted section?

Then click on the display tab and tell us what yours says about the highlighted info.

There might be an easier way to track down info on the graphics card, but I've only had windows 7 for a week and still getting used to it  so if anyone does know an easier way for the love of god please tell me!

Nope, no error codes or anything.

Processor: AMD Sempron(tm) SI-42, ~2.1GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM

And for the other SS -

Name - ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

And it does take a while to get used to Windows 7, still getting used to it now - 3 months after getting it.
