How much have you got to spend?
What sort of thing do you want to use it for?
Do you want one with full manual controls (very useful) or just a point and shoot?
Do you want a compact 'in the pocket' type or does size not matter?

I use a Canon EOS 350D with 18-55 lens and 70-200 L series lens, works for me

Ive got a Olympus E500 outfit its great love it brill what more can i say what i want is something i can take out easer not have to lump a gadget bag around with me ..used my wifes Fuji 55000 its the right size but way to slow what i want is some thing like it but beter Buget £1000 now what whould you get
PS it needs high pixels as i want to print on to a Canon a3 printer

How about that then, its pretty much compact with 8mp
