Camera Battery. . .

I'm just wondering. . .

Is there any real reason why my batteries don't last 5 minutes, well truthfully about 2 hours on average in my camera, is it on wrong setting or something because for example my last Carlisle Overnighter i did, i went through 16 batteries in 22 odd hours!

Any replies appreciated

Get some damn decent rechargeables! 2000mAh as a minimum!

Simple - Not powerful enough batteries. Also they last longer in warmer weather and if you dont keep your camera on for long periods of time.

I have no problems with batteries, my Pentax K10 lasts over 800pics+ on one charge, and thats with stabilization switched on8)
