Hello all,
Was quite agast on Monday morning to discover that they had experienced some fairly big issues during last weekend's possession, just outside Cambridge on the Ipswich line. At one point it didn't look as if the line was to reopen until Tuesday.
Thankfully, I managed to get the first train out of Cambridge, the delayed 16:44. But it trundled a fair number of miles out of Cambridge, then went back to line speed then (I presume just outside Cherry Hinton) it hit the emergency brake when we stood for a couple of minutes. No information as to what caused it. Ended up being 35L back in Bury.
Just wondering what the issues have been to cause such an over-run?
