Cambrian line - emergency timetable?

Hello - for most of the last couple of weeks, the 09:40 from Newtown to Shrewsbury (the one from Aberystwyth) has been cancelled on the day due to more trains than usual needing repairs, but I looked on RTT this morning & not only is it cancelled but it's been completely removed from RTT today. Does this mean TFW have introduced an emergency timetable to run presumably until the 197s are introduced? Is there any chance of this service & the other Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury fillers running again before the 197s arrive, & if so when will that be?

RTT is showing it as "VCN" which means "very short notice (planned) cancellation", i.e. TfW probably realised they would not be able to run it and cancelled it yesterday.
It is what is sometimes called "p-coded" as it is a planned cancellation and therefore doesn't appear in the usual cancellation stats.

On the upside, VCN suggests that this isn't an emergency timetable.

Ok, so does that mean there is a chance of them running again next week then - maybe TFW have concluded that they're best off doing a mass cancellation now & then the service can stabilise next week? I was concerned that with the number of times it's been cancelled recently that they'd decided to do what some of the other operators have done in summer & bring in a temporary timetable with the services that have regularly run.
