Good afternoon, I just wondered if there are still 2 separate companies with similar names near the English / Welsh Border? and if they both do operate rail services?

I went on one of these, short lines some years ago, I think it went from Pant to Llynclys. ? Then a few days ago, friends of mine went on another short trip from Oswestry? (I don't think that was opened when I was in that area when I did the other trip.) I do remember there being talk of these 2 short lines being extended and connected?, but there were 2 different companies /owners involved.

There were 2 but, they merged and are now working towards the same objectives, after a period of division. Check the Cambrian Rly website
