Camberley Station 25th November 2009

Got to say that I am totally un impressed with SWT this morning..

Got to Camberley station this morning @ 06.30 ready to park my car and get the 06.44 in to London.

Found the station locked, usually it's temporarily locked with the member of staff doing his rounds... not today though...

Could not buy a ticket for the car park as the (train) ticket vending machine did not appear to sell them and the car park ticket machine was not accepting cash.

Several calls to SWT about this, and was advised to leave my car with a note.

Just praying that my car is not clamped when I got off the train tonight....

Must be mad.

Only a fool would catch a direct train from Camberley, when it's so much quicker via Ash Vale.

Or if you were absolutely desperate to catch the direct train, why didn't you think to drive about 3 miles down the road to Bagshot, where it's FREE parking and a cheaper ticket. :roll:

I live in Sandhurst... and (thankfully) use the trains rarely.....

Could be staff illness, , or a car accident on the way to work.
