Was she a basher? Did she bring a whole new meaning to the phrase 'a pair of 37s'?
Double headed? Sorry
Was she a basher? Did she bring a whole new meaning to the phrase 'a pair of 37s'?
I've never scored in the lounge car, though i met a lassie having a smoke out the window at the loco end a few years back, she had a first class berth too, and i had her breakfast.![]()
gner.co.uk said:includes First Class Open return rail travel valid for up to 1 month, one way by GNER and one way by ScotRail's Caledonian Sleeper. Also, one complimentary GNER meal voucher for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Scotrail light breakfast and refreshment voucher, up to 7 days free station car parking (subject to availablility) and Underground Zones 1 and 2 return tickets when travelling to London. This package is valid from most stations on the Edinburgh-Aberdeen/Inverness lines and also Fort William to London and vice versa.
Am I the only one to have at first read that as; ...and i had her for breakfast?![]()
No. I did as well. Kippers anyone?
You don't even need to score on the sleeperIs scoring on the sleeper the cranks' equivalent of joining the Mile High Club?
Do people often score in the lounge car do you think, or is this just a product of my fevered imagination?
In the only context I would ever be caught saying this, I'd prefer a pair of 47s myselfWas she a basher? Did she bring a whole new meaning to the phrase 'a pair of 37s'?
Yeah it's a pretty grim prospect if you ask me. Hardly the stuff of candle-lit fantasies. The mind boggles: Clearly some people's passions know no bounds!Surely the loo on a 150 has to be just about the most grim place to do anything at all (including actually going to the loo), never mind 'the act'? It's not a romantic image you're conjuring up. However, if she's managed it in a pacer loo she'd probably be in the Guinness Book of Records.
Much better in a 333 where you've got a lot more room, plus the added frisson of excitement that the door might slowly open at any minute!
Anybody else imagining the scenario with a bit of cheesy cabaret music playing over the top as the door slides slowly open, revealing the scene to the rest of the carriage?![]()
You don't even need to score on the sleeper
Try InterCity 225
I once found a couple quite literally "at it"
How the other passengers never noticed is beyond me!
They weren't in the toilet, they were right in the centre of Coach AI find the toilets on Mk4s are awfully wide
Is scoring on the sleeper the cranks' equivalent of joining the Mile High Club?
I do believe that scoring on the Sleeper must be the crank's version of the mile high club. Though surely the question must be asked, does the kudos you get for fulfilling the act vary depending on what the traction is up front?
The Metre High Club![]()

I reported on that last year, it was due to abuse so they were isolatedIn case anyone was thinking of taking their laptop or charging their phone onboard, I have just discoverd that the plug sockets don't work
I reported on that last year, it was due to abuse so they were isolated
Plugging in hair straighteners, electric toothbrushes, etcAbuse? What were they doing to them?

This used to be very common on services between Perth and Inverness / Edinburgh and AberdeenI watched a 170 go over the bridge coupled up to (what looked like) a 158. I think that was the 0715 Perth to Glasgow Queen Street, but I can't be certain. Was I imagining things, or do ScotRail use that formation?
That was the strangest multiple unit formation I've ever seen.
