Someone who I will not name says that Caledonian Sleeper do have their coaches in sets. I was wondering if anyone knew any detail about this or the set names/numbers

They were nominally formed as CS01-CS08, but have never had fixed constituent carriages.

See https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/caledonian-sleeper.176365/page-214#post-4393340

In theory, a post on the TOPS request thread could yield the current alignment of sets and carriages if someone had the necessary access.

It would be interesting to see how far away they are from the 2020 formations now.

In the RSL (Rolling Stock Library), the Caledonian Sleeper Mk5 sets aren't allocated to sets.

There are various CSxx sets in the RSL but most of them don't seem to be strictly associated with the sleepers as far as I can make out (although I'm not looking too deeply). The identifiers range from CS04 through to CS89. CS12 appears to have a HST Mk3 in!

I don’t quite follow what this sentence means. My understanding was that each Mk5 coach is entirely standalone and can be marshalled into any sort of consist.

I think that a set has to have a 150xx vehicle in the formation to support the train management system, so not quite standalone.
