Caledonian Sleeper boarding times

Hi all, I have a trip on the 23:40 from Euston coming up, with a standard shared berth.
Can anyone advise what sort of time I'll be able to board and take up residency of the berth?
Also, is there any good provision for waiting around Euston?

It should be open at 22.30 and Sleeper passengers are entitled to the use of the 1st class lounge.

Plenty to do around Euston if you dont want to use the lounge. Depending on what time you get there of course but some great pubs around and also a trip to the Flying Scotsman could be good to pass an hour or two if thats your thing

I'm afraid it's not as simple as all sleeper passengers being able to use the 1st class lounge:

First Class Caledonian Sleeper customers and Advance Loyalty Club members can enjoy complimentary light snacks and refreshments in the Virgin Trains First Class lounge. Dedicated Caledonian Sleeper Standard Single ticket holders can also be given access to the lounge. A voucher will be provided to those who qualify by your on train host.

Standard Class customers can use the Passenger lounge, which is on the main concourse opposite the left luggage office. Both lounges are open daily.

But one can join the Scotrail advance club for free...
(It asks for a code off of a first class ticket valid in Scotland, but I just put in five random digits and it worked. Although it took about a month for them to send the card.)

I've been let in before several times while waiting for departure just by showing a Standard Sleeper ticket. I thought the voucher thing was for incoming passengers wishing to make use of the lounge for the hour after arrival?

Does having a 1st class Edinburgh to Haymarket single ticket (£2.90) count as being allowed?

As does holding a ticket for the Caledonian Sleeper.

So it is technically correct to say all Sleeper customers can use the lounge, provided standard or seated customers apply for an Advance card in, ahem, advance.
