Calder Valley reliability?

A quick question and apologies if in wrong forum, I wasn't sure which one to put this in.

I'm in Manchester this weekend for a romantic weekend away with Dr Tyke. We'll be without child as she's staying in Halifax with my family.

Question is, what's Northern's reliability like at the moment? Travelling Saturday lunchtime to Manchester and Monday morning back, are the trains generally running ok? I'd rather not drive, but I'd hate to be stuck dealing with cancelled trains as the Christmas Market will make them busy enough as it is.

I gather from talking to my sister who uses Smithy Bridge station to get to and from work that the Tod curve service has a lot of cancellations

You can check last Saturday's and yesterday's on RTT - a few cancellations both days.
