Visiting your lovely country in February and on the way out thought I might investigate using the dover-calais ferry. Is the day trip ticket still available from St Pancras if I ask on the day?

You will struggle to get someone to sell it to you. All they do at St Pancras is direct you to the Eurostar desk.

It might be cheaper to get advance tickets to Dover. P+O are doing an offer of £1 (Sun-Tue) £8 (Wed-Sat) each way for foot passengers.

I went on one of these a couple weeks ago which was brilliant. (Foot passengers are normally first on the ship as well)
Its also possible to get an earlier ferry if you get back to the terminal early.

Southeastern do not offer Advance tickets.

A through ticket from London to Calais, valid on P&O Ferries, is £37.40 for the Day Return, but this is not valid from St Pancras.

Thanks for that. Actually makes it about 30 pound cheaper than Eurostar to Paris and I end up arrive at almost the same time.

Can a High Speed supplement be used with this ticket?
