I drive all the bve 4 trains fully zoomed out so i can see all the controls and to gain the "drivers eye view" position. You also feel as if you are going faster when zoomed out. Hence, the basic keys panel is in view on the right hand side.
So really a question to the train developers: Why can't the trains be with the zoomed out view as default so the whole screen is filled with the cab?
For now, i have removed the 'keys' from the d3d folders so now i get a white panel where this used to be.
Many thanks
Richard

It's due to the size of the bitmap really that is used to form the cab, most are adapted photos so not easy to expand.

This is what i mean, i drive fully zoomed out

This is when i remove the keys bar

Couldn't the cabs be made without the quick keys bar and instead where my white space is, the cabs could be 'stretched' to fill the screen?

Ben, 47 fan wants to view the FULL cab, rather than the "default" view cab.

I did as well Alistair, about the first 50 times I played. I've played so may times now that I don't need it.
Only problem is, I get mixed up between the controls for BVE and MSTS!

This (the keys bar) could help first timer to drive, not all is able to memorise from the readme so well. And you don't wish to exit and see the file, return and forgotten everything and repeat the same thing again.
