Cab ride dvd suggestions

Not sure if this is the right place for this question but i will give it a go. Has anyone got any good suggestions for cab ride dvds that have good commentary like hst west, and hst far west. I just bought a dvd that features London to Sunderland, and an hst cab ride from Bristol to Birmingham and they have nothing and it was a litle disapointing. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

How exactly do you mean "they have nothing"? Cab rides are exactly what they say they are, cab rides.

Are you looking for nicer scenery?

I think he means a cab ride with commentary. http://www.video125.co.uk/acatalog/ are usually pretty good for a cab ride DVDs

Ah yes, I should look at the opening post much more closely!

I always found the GNER Flying Scotsman Part 1 & 2 to be very good, narrated by Fred Dineage. Some excellent scenery north of Newcastle as well.

You can often stumble across interesting route learning stuff on Youtube such as this one: http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=75994 but the commentary is focussed on signals and speed limits etc. rather than the scenery

Great suggestions guys. Yes i meant general commentary speed limits junctions grades etc are interesting I know some of you just prefer to have just the sounds in the cab its just nice to have some info to go with, They got it right I think with paddington to penzance I think but it was filmed back in the 80s. Keep them coming.

As a general rule:
- Video 125 (http://www.video125.co.uk/acatalog/) have commentaries but the cab rides aren't complete, they only show 'interesting bits'. They are however filmed to very fine quality.
- 225 Studios (http://225studios.com/) have a much wider catalogue, but no commentary, and are of a slightly lesser recording quality. However they have annotations to show junction, station and tunnel etc names, and show the complete route to the point where tunnels are filmed in their entirety.
