Hi guys hope your all well. Anyone know if C2C is taking or will be taking any qualifieds anytime soon?
I live in Essex closer to East London and atm central london is a killer for traffic! Wont ever change.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I emailed recruitment 2 weeks ago and they replied basically stating they are taking on trainees for the foreseeable future and they have no plans taking on qualified any time soon. So annoying as I live on the line so c2c would be perfect for me

I think the days of TOCs always taking on qualified drivers over trainees are gone. Everyone is investing in trainees over qualifieds now. I think there is government money for the driver apprenticeship scheme so it pays TOCs to do it.

Yeah guess you guys are right. I always see freight jobs avaliable however atm dont fancy that.
What I would love is to drive trains in the middle east!! I know the money is good but thats about it I think.
If only I could work closer to home! Would save my soul.

If you don’t mind saving your soul for what is probably a lot less money anglia seem to have a permanent advert for qualified.
