Are child tickets discounted on GroupSave?
Today I bought GroupSave tickets from C2C from Upminster to Leigh-on-Sea (super off peak returns) and was charged £5.20 for adults (which is about a third off) but £3.95 for children (which is the normal child fare).
C2C's website doesn't appear to say that discounts don't apply to child tickets and I assumed there would be a third off these too.

The discounts are only applied to adult fares and this is a recent change not to have £1 or £2 kids.

From time to time c2c do have promotional offers and do sell advance tickets online with up to 40% off adult & child fares.

C2C's website doesn't say that GroupSave only gives discount for adult tickets and in saying 'family' would tend to imply that it includes children too.

I bought tickets for a group of 22 (mixed adults & children) and told people prices based on a third off. I rang C2C and asked about discounts for groups and they sent me a form but suggested that there would be little saving over GroupSave prices. I didn't send it back for a quote as wasn't sure until yesterday how many would be travelling and didn't want to be tied to specific trains - plus the assumption that GroupSave applied to child tickets.

It's adults only. In the past it wasn't, they probably haven't changed the website text.
