[BVE4] Four New Trains and an Update

Hi all,

It doesn't seem to have been mentioned here yet, so I just thought I'd let you all know that in the early hours of Wednesday morning five new files appeared on my site, courtesy of Steve 'Cardiff Cabs' Thomas. These are a Class 150/1, Class 150/2, Class 320, updated Class 321/4 and last but not least a Class 321/9.

That'd be cool. It's still listed on his site as being created by you (with a link to your old Northern Railways website ) and last updated in Feb '04

Yeah sounds like it. The motor sounds are from the BVE2 150.

Liking them tho! I've done some personal modifications to the 150/2 buzzer, as ATW's 150's use a beep as a buzzer.

one suggestion, in future it'd be better if a photo of the cab was taken rather than being drawn. However, I understand the difficulty with space in cabs. I found it impossible to get a decent shot in a GatEx GLV

It'll be back sooooon. An updated Class 320 will be up tomorrow too.

As for any comments regarding the trains, it might be best to forward them here or directly to 'steveGR' on that same forum. I had no input into the production - credit goes to Steve Thomas and a few others involved in the production of the trains.

In the not too distant future there will also apparently be some new NWM diagrams released, making use of the Class 150s.

The 'bell' on the 321 is excellent, although I do seem to be getting random beeps from the AWS from time to time despite being nowhere near a signal. Shame about the lack of door noises too but oh well!

Some really hard work has clearly been put into those productions. Well Done.

It looks as though some mirrors for the files may be required, if Damon's site is exceeding it's bandwidth

What does the update include?

Nothing major - just a little cab tidy and the move of the TPWS from the previously unprototypical position.
