bve is now working... but...

i leave maybank on a 323 to riverside diagram,get to the next signal and the train just stops. is this something to do with the safety ? what button do i press.#???

Can you go into more detail?

It is likely to be the AWS. If the signal is showing a cautionary or danger aspect a horn will sound and you are required to cancel it within a few seconds otherwise the emergency break will apply.

Go and read the Beginner's Guides, in particular the one for BVE4 as that contains driving advice.

ive sorted it now. thanks for you help yesterday. that youtube video. was no good. so i trialed and errored.today. can you reccomend any routes to play?

I strongly suggest Anthony Bowden's Cross City North route, and the TSC LUL routes. Of course it depends what exactly you are interested in.

can you explain something. on the open bve routes. i cant use any routes for bve 2 and bve 4 if im correct?

You can, but they may come up with a lot of errors. It's far more advisable to just use things made for openBVE.

i.e atm.

i have network west midland files in one folder.

do i put new dowloads in that folder or in another folder? i.e

network west mids one folder then
northern line. another folder
