BVE from the command line / shortcuts

Hi,

Does anyone here know anything about launching BVE directly into a route?

There is some command line switch which allows you to specify which file to load when BVE starts - it's used in BRR - does anybody know what it is?

I believe the command line is used in the BVE Launcher utility over on my site - why not get that, then look at the resulting file it produces?

There are other things you can do - associating the .csv file extension with BVE rather than Excel, for example. Then, double clicking on a route file causes it to open directly in BVE.

You could then create a desktop shortcut to your favourite route(s), in the normal "drag and create a shortcut" way.

A while ago, I wrote some notes on Working Smarter with BVE.... so, tonight I've published them on my blog on my website.
