If you are wanting to use the travelcards for the 2 for 1 offers then the ones that that outlet sells are not valid for that purpose.

Otherwise should be OK - but maybe Oyster would be better?

Will you actually need a 7-day travelcard? Are you planning to travel extensively during the peak periods? If not then Oyster PAYG will be cheaper.

We will only need the Travelcards for transportation, so their not being valid for 2for1 offers is not a problem.

We will be staying for 5 days and making at least 4 journeys a day (avoiding peak hours) in zones 1&2, so Travelcards is cheaper than PAYG (7-day Travelcard is £30.40, five off-peak day caps are £35.00).

Thanks for your answers!

You can load 7 day seasons onto Oyster but it may just be easier to get the paper tickets depending on how savvy your group is

I know about loading Travelcards onto Oyster, but given that we would have to buy nine Oyster cards (nobody in our group has one) and pay the 2014 prices, it just seems best to buy the paper tickets on this site and not having to queue when we arrive.

That site looks suspicious, it does not use the proper month abbreviations on the tickets, and the FAQ page says Watford Junction is in zone 9.

The pictures are correct - the 'Visitor' passes are usually hand stamped using a commercially available hand stamp and become magnetically encoded with a hand stamp on passing through the gateline.

It is genuine: it's linked to from TfL's own visitors' shop (which sells pretty much the same range of tickets).

The tickets came in the post today, they look alright to me. The only thing to do now is not to misplace them somewhere (July is far away) :D
