Can this be done at all on any website or any call centres ? With so many stations just having TVM machines or unstaffed or part time buying privs if you don't live in a decent sized town can be difficult.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think any of the above possible as they all require documentation, however saying that railcard tickets are issued.

If the full range of tickets/discounts are not available at your origin you may buy on board the train and be charges just as if they were available

Scotrail telesales sell them, and you can pick up from TOD. Also best place to go for PRIV sleeper.

Thanks, it was a priv sleeper for Pad to Pnz i was looking for, will try there.
Mojo, i got a priv oyster card without being safeguarded by filling in that form. Did not realise only safeguarded staff were entitled to them and obviously neither did the clerk where i got it!

You can buy PRIV discounted tickets from a commercial guard or revenue protection staff either on the train or at your destination if the ticket office at the station you boarded at is closed (or if there is no ticket office), and the only available facilities are ticket vending machines, which do not offer the discount as every Tom, Dick and Harry would be buying them.

There are good reasons why staff tickets are not available online or from TVMs, besides which, I can't think of many staff that never visit a manned station for long periods (I guess head office staff might not if they drive/cycle/walk to work).

TOC head offices are normally quite near to railway stations anyway!
