Buying a new 26-30 railcard

Is it possible for me to buy a new 26-30 railcard in advance of the renewal cutoff? I turn 31 tomorrow and was wondering if it was legal to renew it just before I do to get another year out of it.

According to https://www.26-30railcard.co.uk/using-your-railcard/are-you-eligible/:

You can buy a National Rail 26-30 Railcard any time before your 31st birthday and keep using it for a whole year, until its expiry date.
