Buying a Britrail pass

yes have to laugh was looking at idea of a britrail pass (b ein g Irish should be entitled to uk passes?_ found everythingi goodled led back to Rail Europe- that monstrously inefficent organisation which proved my comntention that its useledd -everysingle op[tion to seek fares for consecutive, Senior-consecutice Ist cl, flexi whatever-sorry url does no exist.
haT DOES EXIST HOWEVER IS , I SUSPECT A FIRST CLASS CONTRICK(TYPICAL OR RAIL EUROPE in that trhey seem to have prempted any possibility of anyone getting near these passes online by blocking every approach with a false url link!
PS I NEVER, under ANY circumstances , use Rail Europe for continental bookings having been either ripped off, sent via hugely expensive routes at worst possible price options or else had my (very valuable when i net and ravelling) time wasted with tortous twisted site only to find it can't do what was asked in the first plave-my advice is use the National site -ie SNCF, DE Belgian rail - whatever and give Rail Europe the widest possible berth and no comission!

oops::Much ooops....and most sorry had cataract and laser operation on eye on Monday been a bit woggly on screen ever since. will attempt restoration. Was there a fare question-yes-in that i was looking to find cost ofBrit Rail passes.Masses of info about Brit rail passes like what they are what they do but nowhere could I find a price of offer to sell/buy.
I also searched from Irish Google as I want to buy a britrail pass from another country ie-Ireland. where i also have a permanent address.
Found lots and lots of sites claiming tosell these passes but almost every site except the Brit Tourist Board claiming to sell Brit Rail passes led straight back to Eurail -but all of those sites Googled under under different names and nowherte mentioned Eurail intil they advisey" buiy Britrail pass" anmd prest-open link and up pops Eurail!. NONE-including Eurail could or world give details of price or how to purchase. ow to me that's extrordinary: buy a pas is trumpted yet passes appear to be not for sale.
So it does seem a lot of Eurail eyewash:if puns are allowed tonight!

Faqctually-it does NOT want to sell any of the Brit Rail passes it offers but will not publicly say so despite my stating clearly i will NOT be travelling with a UK resident (though it may prove difficult to find a train with olny foreigners aboard! My guess is they sell ONLY to NON EU foreigners and therefore only in UK on production of a passport ot whatever...and do not sell these passes online -and so they will do anything to avoid any British resident getting a pass, no matter how much busines they lose from us nonUK but EU residents they lose business fromI am a resident of another E U country) other than the K or Northern Ireland.
Or is it these passes are NOT available to other EU residents ie non-EU? In which case all the bull on the net about BritRail passes for visitors is just that-bull**** and then it's another case of Brit Rail deceit.

So why direct anyone to it?

My guess is they sell ONLY to NON EU foreigners and therefore only in UK on propduction of a passport of whatever...and do not sell these passes online anywhere and they will do anything to avoid an British Resident getting a pass, no matter how many citizens of another country they lose business from (I am a citizen and a tax paying-rate paying resident of another E U country) other than the UK or Northern Ireland)and therefore should, in theory, be able to purchase a BritRail pass from my Republic of Irieland address.

Thanks for sharing that much information with everyone people. I would like to tell you about the experience that i feel in Eurpoe. When I was planned to visit Europe for the first time, I was really excited because till then I have not went abroad. That was my first journey with my husband. We were very happy when we saw the mountains and beautiful scenery of Europe. It was mesmerizing. Most delighting feature I saw was the way people can travel through out Europe. I travel the Europe by Eurail. It was really affordable as well as comfortable. I would like to go and take the ride again on those beautiful eurail whenever we go Europe again.
