The road along the west side of Gloucester Dock, over the newer lift bridge is buses only. Equipped with cameras to get the car drivers, as I found out!

Ah yes, that bridge. You were by no means the only one when it was first built, I think I remember reading at the time that at least a dozen a day also fell foul of that. :neutral:

There is a small section of bus only road between Pride Park junction and Pentagon Island in Derby. The actual section is one way, and very short, giving way to a public two lane road but the road is a dead end leading to an industrial estate so there is very little traffic. It allows fast trentbarton buses such as Red Arrow, Spondon Flyer and Ilkeston Flyer to pull off the A52 one junction before Pentagon Island and avoid the massive queues that back up there at rush hour. IMO it would be nice if it was two way!
