You know those picturs of people most bus companys to promote travelling on their busses as their lievery, with quotes next to the people like "For me, It's smarter by bus", which Imaging company do they get the pictures from???
cus, ive seen many bus comapnys use the same picturues, for example:

Wilts & Dorsets 50 "Purbeck Breezer" open top bus Bournemouth Rail Station-Sawnage via Sandbanks and Studland, uses a cartoon woman smiling and kneeling down with a strawberry ice cream, Whereas Satgecoach' "Go2" Exxeter-Newton-Abbot via Teignmouth, also uses the picture.....

Thanks,
Jim.

The images have probably been purchased from a stock photos website like this or this.

However, some bus operators arrange photoshoots themselves. Unilink took this approach a couple of years ago when it auditioned for models to appear on the rear of their buses to promote their services.

Didn't one operator around Birmingham have an ad on their buses showing a very attractive young lady asking 'fancy a ride boys'? IIRC it was banned for being overtly sexual.

The Trent Barton 'Mickleover' website branding actually looks ok (despite being pink) I actually contemplated using it if I got a job in Derby!

There's nothing smart about the bus except for short hops around major towns and cities. It doesn't pick up much extra speed in the countryside and is often sickly-rough and barely faster than making the journey by bicycle, especially allowing for gap times between buses (for turn-up-and-go).

They've gone back down that road again, with adverts for the Bullring Markets featuring scantily clad women alongside slogans such as "Super Melons" and "Great Pear" on the back of buses on the 16. How on earth they decided that that was a good marketing ploy I have no idea.
