Anybody know what is happening at Burton upon trent depot went passed yesterday a lot of locomotives av gone but more class 43 power cars av recently arrived

Do you mean the Nemesis facility? They haven’t got rid of any locos as far as I know. In fact they should be taking delivery of 47703 soon.

They must've moved em round a lot then only 2 shunters at back now rest must b behind all coaching stock then I presume

And duly delivered yesterday along with Mk3 sleeper coach 10522 and Mk2 open brake 9531 by 57009, reported as being the first rail move for 703 since September 2012

Reported on WNXX that 47701 is being prepared for repainting as part of the process of getting it ready for a main line return
