I'd doubt it as alot of PC game demo's are released before the actual game is so people can test how well their PC can handle it...

Dont see many games nowadays without Demos though!

Does seem a shame there is a few bugs but hopefully they can be easily patched.

I would say I will hold out a while but Amazon are doing it for £26 and I have a £20 off voucher

Although I may not be able to get it due to the stupid EA 'system spec' checker. My PC trounces the mimimum and recommended on all apart from this!:

So despite having every it needs it still fails. Mind you I know my graphics card ain't superb but still! Might have a punt and pray for Amazon to refund if I have to send it back!

It may be offered on a Magazine cover or something , but I'd have thought that was going to happen by now to get everybody licking their lips for the launch date!.

We'll on a Personal Note ,I'm going to give it a miss in the foreseeable future for a couple of reasons , 1/ it contains nothing that would interest me route wise ( maybe with the exception of York Newcastle),.....
2/ It has for obvious reason none or little additional add ons ,......
3/ from what I have seen of Screen shoots published on other sites they are nothing to wet ones self with excitement over , "Very Trainz Looking",....
4/ I just have a feeling it will either flop or at least need a re-launch before it can eclipse Microsoft Train Simulator.

And I view it as nothing more than a glorified version of Trainz

An another personal note for not rushing out & buying it , I will most likely get it here in Belfast after Christmas for £10 or less Train Sim Stuff don't sell well here ,as my requisitions from the past 2 January Sales prove, Jan of 2006 ( "6" MSTS Add On's inc. WSR LSE &then fairly new Southern for £20) & this year Got Ship Sim 06 LNER Pacific's & ECE 2 for £6.97 in total plus picked up a spare copy of I E North for £4:99

So as you see it will pay me to wait & see what is going to happen & I also see that people with hardware Specs well above EA minimum requirements are having difficulties getting it to run with shudder free viewing & decent frame rates.

Lets be honest, graphically it looks superb, its just the bugs they need to fix. Hopefully it can be done soon. Big shame for me thats the damn post is striking again on Monday and Tuesday so it won't arrive for a while!

I have a ATI Radeon X1600 Hypermemory and on average I get 15-25fps.
Better than what I was expecting really.

Just a note. Popped into Game in Redcar this evening and not a copy in sight. Asked about it and the lad said there had been no copies and he had never heard of it. Brilliant really considering Game have that deal regarding extra stock.
