Buffer Puffer 11.1 - 8th February

We have another Buffer Puffer tour from Pathfinder Tours, this one booked for Class 20 haulage.

Does anyone know why this tour is starting/terminating at Stafford?

It is only load 5, so will it run in top & tail mode from Stafford or will the 20s be split in the London area?

Will DRS provide a 60 mph pair or will it be a 75 mph pair?

I really hope it's a 60mph pairing. Failing that, 20309 can substitute for one of the pair that did BP10.0. :-?

I think with the tour being load 5, it wouldn't be a problem having a 60mph pair. I would like 20303/20304 (depending on availability), but wouldn't be bothered if it's any combination of 20308/20309/20312.

Well, it's timed for 75mph, albeit max. So with 20309 out of action it looks like 20308 and 20312 again. :cry:

What with that and the best bits going from the routing, it's beginning to look a bit of a dud.

Yes, but the Deviationer was timed for 75mph max and was worked by 60mph pair of 20302/20305 and at one stage got wound up to 82mph, so never say never.

As long as it's got at least one class 20 at each end I'm not really bothered though 303 would be most welcome.
