Bucharest to Chișinău night train

Im struggling to find anything on the internet and wondered if anyone knows if the sleeper is running between Bucharest to Chișinău, or is it a normal train just to Lasi and changed for a Moldova train?

Ticket sales on CFM website are currently suspended, so if they're not selling tickets, it's probably not running at the moment.

Thanks guys, I was hoping to get into Moldova on monday, but it seems its on lockdown, so Ill just be interrailing around Romania instead.

Iaşi (pronounced Yasch) or to use the former English version Jassay (Yass-ay).

I've never been but it's on the list. A former capital of Romania & prior to that the Principality of Moldavia. Enjoy.

Thanks very much, may have to cancel now, cant get any sense out of the airline or my insurance company, just hoping I can get reinburse for the Interrail pass, may as well give up on travel now the way Corvid is going

Just for a complete picture:
in actual fact the train was never really the main connection. I once saw (but that is by now some 4-5 yrs ago) at least 20 old 2nd hand west-eur coaches standing in Bucuresti all labelled for Chisinau-and some other major points in MOL. Cheaper, quicker, more able to bring you to final destination etc. And less comfort. But you probably all know that.
The same applies from iasi: except thats is the dreaded minibus from there. Even more at much lower price from just over the border (can be reached by citybus).
Best indeed to cancel: from the news here I gather that ROM is very hard hit by the covid pandemic. reliable uptodate news on which (INTernastional) trains are running is very hard to get-dont trust that all those flashy sites are updated on a daily base.

Thank you very much for the info, yes my plane leaves for Bucharest in 2 hours, sadly Im locked down, Booked by Kiwi.com who as it turns out are scammers so Ill lose my fares, Interrail will refund me minus £20, hotel for the first night gave me a full refund though. Ill try again in the summer, next trip is the Scandinavian countries in March all going well.
