BT Mobile Coverage

My contract with EE runs out shortly......

BT Broadband customers are being offered 120 quid off a new phone and contract on BT mobile.

Considering the move but no idea what BT mobile coverage is like. Does anybody know?

Also contemplating whether to stay with Samsung and an exploding S7 or cross to the dark side and Apple. Currently have a Samsung Galaxy Alpha which has been great, apart from a failing battery after 20 months or so.

Any thoughts?

I believe BT Mobile actually use EE to carry their mobile network, so I would assume coverage to be identical to what you get today. BT and EE have recently merged so are in effect the same company.

Yes BT use the EE network and I presume that soon they will merge the EE brand into BT or vice versa depending on how they see the "merger" taking shape

BT Mobile use EE's network so there should be no coverage difference (except in the event that the phone you get has a better or worse antenna than the previous one).

I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 having had an iPhone 5S previously and I'm loving it. It was the Note 7 that was suffering from battery issues. The S7 and S7 Edge are unaffected as far as I'm aware.

I use BT, and I like the idea that you get free WiFi when you connect to a BT WiFi hotspot. Also, have no idea what EE is like, but BT is very good for coverage.

I've seen that deal and it seems good but use a decent comparison website to check out all the deals. Carphone Warehouse's new network iD (on Three) is offering some cracking deals from what I've seen. You won't have a problem signal wise with BT as it uses EE.

EE are now owned by BT afaik so as others have said the coverage will be exactly the same (bearing in mind any phone differences)
