This week has been unbelievable on the Wigan NW to St Helens Central line. Tuesday evening was disrupted until midinight due to cable theft. Engineers replaced them by midnight. 3am Wednesday morning and the signals went down again! Not 3 hours after the new cable had been fitted, it was thieved again! Disruption until lunch on Wednsday. Today (Saturday) and the trains are delayed again because of signalling problems at Bryn! I think it would be worth the outlay if the BTP put on a 48 hour hobo at Bryn station because whoever it is is coming back again and again and again. You're bound to catch them this weekend
